AEM pioneered the Cold Air induction system for sport compact cars such as BMW 3 Series in 1994.
AEM Cold BMW Air intake system relocates the filter outside of the BMW engine compartment to deliver the coolest air inlet temperatures possible. Cooler air carries more oxygen, which translates into a more intense explosion in the combustion chamber to create more horesepower and torque to your BMW 3 series. But that's only part of the power equation. Tuning the inlet pipe in length and diameter to match the engine's resonance helps move more air to the cylinders (think of your engine as a big air pump), and no company on the market can tune an inlet as well as we can. We also monitor fuel trim correction factors and all OBDII sensors during R&D to eliminate leaning the BMW engine out and/or throwing a check engine light.
Our BMW Cold Air systems are dyno-proven and tested against the competition to create more useable power than any other system of their kind. Every AEM Cold BMW Air induction system features the highest standards of construction and we are so confident in their fit and performance that we guarantee them for the life of your vehicle. All AEM Cold Air systems are either 50-state legal or pending (excluding "Off Road" and "Hybrid" systems), include a lifetime DRYFLOW Synthetic air filter and come with a limited lifetime warranty.
Inspection
Buyer shall inspect and reconcile all inbound shipments from Alle46Parts.com within seven (7) working days. Claims for shortages or damaged merchandise must be submitted to Alle46Parts.com no more than ten (14) working days following Buyer's receipt of shipment.
Returns; Defective and Damaged Merchandise
Defective and freight damaged merchandise (but only where Alle46Parts.com is providing shipment) may be returned to Alle46Parts.com for full credit, but only upon verification by Alle46Parts.com of such defect or damage. A Returned Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") form must be filled out by the Buyer and Approved by Alle46Parts.com. Credit will be issued to Buyer upon receipt of the RMA form and the claim approval from the freight company.
Returns; Exchanges; Good Merchandise
Returns of good merchandise may be accepted by Alle46Parts.com in its sole discretion under the following conditions:
1. Return/Exchange of merchandise in totally re-saleable condition, without markings on the original packaging will be restricted to extraordinary circumstances with prior approval from Alle46Parts.com. Accepted return will be assessed a 20% restocking charge.
2. Return/Exchange of merchandise in packaging that has been marked, relabeled or otherwise defaced will be restricted to extraordinary circumstances with prior approval from your Alle46Parts.com. Accepted return will be assessed a 30% restocking charge, except that Alle46Parts.com merchandise returned in packaging that has been marked, relabeled or otherwise defaced will be subject to a 40% restocking charge. Returned part number shall not exceed 15% of total annual purchase quantities.
3. Merchandise on sales promotion or inventory packages may not be returned for credit.
4. Buyer must pay all return transportation charges.
5. Buyer must obtain and complete an RMA form, issued by Alle46Parts.com, for any good merchandise return or exchanges.
6. Returns/Exchanges will not be accepted under any circumstances after 15 calendar days after the ship date indicated by Alle46Parts.com.
